Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about finding healthcare jobs in the UK
How long does it take to find a job in the UK?
Most of our clients receive job offers within 4-8 weeks of starting the job search process. Timeline varies based on your specialty, experience level, and location preferences.
Do I need NMC registration before applying for jobs?
Ideally yes, but some NHS trusts offer conditional employment pending NMC registration. We help you identify employers who sponsor international nurses through the registration process.
What is NHS banding and how does it affect my salary?
NHS banding is a pay scale system. Most newly registered nurses start at Band 5 (£28,407-£34,581). With experience, you can progress to Band 6 or 7. We help you understand which band you qualify for.
Can you help me find jobs in specific UK cities?
Absolutely! We have connections with employers across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Tell us your preferred locations and we'll focus our search accordingly.
What's the difference between NHS and private hospital jobs?
NHS offers structured career progression, pension, and comprehensive benefits. Private hospitals typically offer higher base salaries and flexible scheduling. We help you decide based on your priorities.
Do you charge fees for job placement?
Our service fees are transparent and discussed during the initial consultation. Many clients' employers cover relocation and recruitment costs as part of their sponsorship package.
